How do I find the right size?

We know that finding the perfect fit online can feel tricky, especially with swimwear. That's why we built our Goddess Fit System, designed specifically for AYA pieces.

On every product page you'll find:

  • Fit Scale Bar: shows at a glance whether this specific style runs small, true to size, or large
  • Goddess Fit Finder: a quick 3-question quiz that gives you a personalised size recommendation for each product
  • Size Chart: our cup-to-size conversion table, automatically adjusted to this product's fit

Every goddess is different, and so is every AYA design. The Athena fits differently than the Iris, and our Fit System knows that.

I'm between two sizes. Should I go up or down?

It depends on the style! Check the Fit Scale Bar on the product page. If it says "runs small", we'd recommend sizing up. If it says "true to size" or "runs large", your usual size should be perfect.

Your personal preference matters too: do you like your swimwear snug and secure, or more relaxed? Our Goddess Fit Finder quiz takes this into account and gives you a recommendation tailored to how you like to wear it.

As a general rule: if you're between sizes and love a secure, supportive fit (especially for tops with underwire like the Clio or Athena), size up. The fabric has a light stretch that will mould to your body beautifully.

Do your products run small?

Some styles do, and we're completely transparent about it. Our tops tend to be more fitted, especially designs like the Athena and Kalliope. Bottoms are generally true to size.

We've analysed thousands of orders and returns to map the exact fit of every style. That data powers the Fit Scale Bar you see on each product page, so you'll always know before you buy.

No guessing, no surprises. Just a goddess who knows her size.

What sizes do you offer?

Our swimwear comes in XS, S, M, and L. Some styles also offer XL. Our sizing is based on European standards:

  • XS = EU 34
  • S = EU 36
  • M = EU 38
  • L = EU 40

Because tops and bottoms are sold separately, you can mix sizes to find your perfect combination. Many of our goddesses wear a different size on top than on the bottom, and that's exactly how it should be.

Can I mix sizes for tops and bottoms?

Absolutely, and we encourage it! That's exactly why we sell tops and bottoms separately. Your body is unique, and a set shouldn't force you into one size.

Mix an S top with an M bottom, or an M Athena with an S Aphrodite. Our Goddess Fit Finder even gives you a per-product recommendation, so you'll always know which size works for each piece.

Product & Care

What are your products made of?

Almost all of our swimwear is crafted from ECONYL® regenerated nylon, a premium yarn made from rescued fishing nets, fabric scraps, and industrial plastic waste. It's transformed into a beautiful, durable fabric that feels amazing on your skin.

Our fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it's been tested for harmful substances and is safe for you and the planet.

Some of our newer pieces also feature recycled super soft mesh and recycled glitter fabric, because sustainable can absolutely sparkle.

How do I take care of my AYA swimwear?

Your AYA pieces are made to last. With a little love, they'll be with you for many summers to come.

Our care tips:

  • Always rinse with fresh water after swimming (salt and chlorine can affect the fabric over time)
  • Hand wash with a mild detergent. This is the best way to keep the colour and shape
  • If you machine wash (we get it, life happens): use a delicate bag, cold water, max 30°C
  • Never tumble dry. Lay flat on a towel and let it dry naturally
  • Avoid direct sunlight while drying to protect the colour

ECONYL® is incredibly resilient, but treating it gently means it treats you well in return.

The item I want is out of stock. Will it come back?

If you see a "Notify me" button on the product page, that means we're planning to restock. Sign up and we'll send you an email the moment it's back. You'll be the first to know.

If there's no notify option, the colourway or style may have been limited edition. But keep an eye on our new drops, our goddesses love to surprise.

What is pre-order?

Pre-order means you can secure a piece before it arrives in our warehouse. It's our way of producing more consciously, by making what you actually want, we minimise overproduction and waste.

When you pre-order, you'll see the expected shipping date on the product page. We'll keep you updated by email, and your order ships the moment the pieces arrive.

It's worth it. Pre-order items are often the first to sell out once they go live.

Orders & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Amsterdam within 1 business day. From there:

  • The Netherlands: 1 business day
  • Germany: 1-2 business days
  • EU: 1-3 business days
  • UK: 2-3 business days
  • USA: 2-3 business days
  • Rest of the world: 3-10 business days

You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking right after your order ships. We ship CO2-neutral through our warehouse partner Monta.

What are the shipping costs?

Free shipping on orders above €70 within the EU, US, and UK.

Under €70:

  • The Netherlands: €6.00
  • Germany: €6.00
  • EU: €12.50
  • Rest of the world: €12.50
How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking link. This takes you directly to the carrier's website where you can follow your package in real time.

Haven't received a shipping email? Check your spam folder first. Still nothing? Drop us a line at customerservice@ayalabel.com and we'll sort it out for you.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders quickly, so changes aren't always possible, but we'll try our best. Email us at customerservice@ayalabel.com as soon as possible after placing your order.

If it hasn't been packed yet, we can usually make changes to the size, address, or items. Once it's shipped, we can't make changes, but you can always return items through our return portal.

Do I have to pay customs or import duties?

It depends on where you're ordering from:

  • EU: No import taxes or duties
  • USA: Orders under $800 are duty-free
  • UK: Orders under £135 are duty-free

For other countries, local customs may apply. These charges are determined by your country and aren't managed by us. We recommend checking your local regulations before ordering.

My package seems lost. What do I do?

First: don't worry, we'll help you. Sometimes packages take a detour, especially international orders.

If your tracking hasn't updated in a while, email us at customerservice@ayalabel.com with your order number. We'll start a trace with the carrier and keep you updated every step of the way. We always find a solution together.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We want you to feel like a goddess, not stuck with something that doesn't feel right. You can return items within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • Tags and hygiene sticker must still be attached
  • Items should be returned in the original packaging

Please note: return shipping costs are at your expense. We offer pre-negotiated carrier rates through our return portal to keep costs as low as possible.

How do I start a return?

It's easy. Go to our return portal and follow these steps:

  1. Enter the last 5 digits of your order number and your email address
  2. Select the items you'd like to return and the reason
  3. Choose a carrier. You can use our pre-negotiated rates or your own
  4. Print your return label and attach it to the package
  5. Drop it off at the nearest pickup point

You'll receive a confirmation email once we've received and processed your return. Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days.

Are returns free?

Return shipping costs are at your expense. We know this isn't ideal, but it's a conscious choice. Free returns encourage over-ordering, which creates unnecessary waste and CO2 emissions.

That said, we do everything we can to help you get the right size the first time. Use our Goddess Fit Finder on the product page for a personalised recommendation, and check the Fit Scale Bar to see exactly how each style fits.

Through our return portal we offer carrier rates that are often lower than standard postal fees.

Can I exchange for a different size?

We don't offer direct exchanges at the moment. The fastest way to get the right size is to place a new order for the size you need, and return the original item through our return portal.

Tip: use the Goddess Fit Finder on the product page before reordering. It'll recommend the perfect size for your body and this specific style.

My product arrived damaged. What should I do?

We're really sorry to hear that. This shouldn't happen and we take it seriously.

  • Your order number
  • A photo of the damage
  • A brief description of the issue

We'll come back to you within 24 hours with a solution, whether that's a replacement, refund, or repair. Every goddess deserves a perfect piece.

What is ECONYL® and why do you use it?

ECONYL® is a regenerated nylon yarn made from waste that would otherwise pollute our planet: abandoned fishing nets from the ocean, fabric scraps from factories, and industrial plastic waste. This waste is collected, cleaned, and regenerated into a high-quality nylon yarn that's identical to virgin nylon in quality.

We chose ECONYL® because it's the best material we've found that combines luxury feel, durability, and genuine environmental impact. It can be recycled infinitely without losing quality.

For us, sustainability was never a marketing decision. It's the foundation everything else is built on.

How sustainable is your packaging?

We thought about every layer:

  • Shipping box: recycled cardboard
  • Product bags: biodegradable polybags (not regular plastic)
  • Hygiene stickers: compostable
  • Shipping: CO2-neutral through our warehouse partner Monta

No unnecessary tissue paper, no plastic filler, no oversized boxes. Just your beautiful swimwear, delivered with care.

Where are your products made?

Our swimwear is produced in ethical, family-owned factories in Istanbul and Bali. We've visited these factories personally and have long-standing relationships with the people who make your pieces.

Fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for the craft. These are non-negotiable for us.

What is your partnership with Justdiggit?

We partner with Justdiggit, an organisation dedicated to re-greening degraded land in Africa. Through this partnership, we contribute to restoring ecosystems and cooling down our planet, one landscape at a time.
